Upton History Morning
As a result of speaking to several people
at the History Morning at Upton Church on 12th July 2026, I have put a link below to
the History of Upton cum Coppingford
Parish, which was also known as
Copmanford during the late medieval
period. This Parish history can be found
on British History Online, but do bear in
mind that the Parish information is taken
from books called the Victoria County
History of Huntingdonshire, which were written starting in 1926 with Volume 3, covering Huntingdonshire, in 1936 so
some of the informamtion contained
therin has now been superseded. I will continue to put any interesting information about Upton and Coppingford as I come accross it. There is also a link to Sawtry Parish and a google search page.
